Th Aim of Alam Energy at determining the feasibility of installing a Hydropower Plant at the site on the basis of environment impact assessment, engineering design, cost of the purpose hydro[power project for implementation through the private sector under the built, own, operate transfer (BOOT) mode.

PROJECT LOCATION

The Proposed hydropower project is located on the fall of upper jhelum canal which is about 19.20 KM downstream of the Mangla Dam and 10.82 KM from UJC Head Work near the Bong Escape which comprising of head regulators, distributiong water to river jhelum and UJC. The project location is lies in the administrative control of District Mirpur, in Azad jammu and Kashmir (AJ&K). The project location is also determined using a Magellan GPS and according to GPS reading the site lies.
